The island is also home to other seabirds like guillemots, fulmars, terns, and gulls, and in the autumn and winter, many seals come to the island to breed. About 250 types of migrating birds also stop on the Isle of May. Scientists are worried that if extreme weather continues, it could make it even harder for puffins and other birds to survive.
