Despite his success, Paul Smith never expected to become a musician. He was not a singer before joining Maximo Park, and although he loved music, he never imagined he would be singing, playing guitar, and writing songs for a living. He describes his career as a miracle and is grateful that people still come to see the band perform. The anniversary tour will start in York and finish with two nights in Newcastle.
