Barcelona's Sagrada Família Tops the Charts as World's Tallest Church!

Barcelona's Sagrada Família has officially become the tallest church in the world after workers placed the first part of a cross atop its central tower. The church now stands at 162. 91 meters, surpassing the Ulm Minster in Germany, which held the record since 1890. The Sagrada Família is a famous basilica located in the heart of Barcelona, Spain, and was designed by the renowned architect Antoni Gaudí. Construction began in 1882, and Gaudí took over the project a year later, transforming the original plans into a much more ambitious vision.
