In August, Trump had written in a book that Zuckerberg would 'spend the rest of his life in prison' if he attempted to meddle in the election. Yet, Trump later softened his stance, saying in a podcast that it was 'nice' that Zuckerberg was 'staying out of the election' and even thanked him for a personal phone call. This shift in tone suggests that Trump is becoming more accommodating towards Zuckerberg. Additionally, Zuckerberg seems to be making an effort to be more supportive of the incoming president.
