Other well-known artists such as Fatboy Slim, Becky Hill, and Rizzle Kicks are also taking part in the festival. Tinie Tempah said that these venues have been a big part of his life and the lives of many other musicians. He thinks it would be a shame if these important places disappeared. According to the Music Venue Trust, there are more than 800 grassroots music venues in the UK, but more than half of them did not make any profit last year. The festival organizers believe that with Glastonbury taking a break next year, this is a great time to focus on the smaller venues that help new artists get started. They want to remind everyone that these places are where live music begins and where people can enjoy great shows without spending too much money.
