Tom Grennan & Courteeners Rock VIP Tickets to Fight Brain Tumors

Singer Tom Grennan and the Manchester band Courteeners are supporting a campaign to help people with brain tumours. They have donated VIP tickets to their summer concerts, which will be raffled to raise money for The Brain Tumour Charity. This campaign is in memory of Adam 'Keano' Keane, a father from Coventry who passed away in July 2024, just after his 38th birthday. Adam had been fighting a brain tumour since 2020. He went through several major surgeries and many rounds of chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Even though he was very sick, Adam stayed positive and tried to spend as much time as possible with his young son.

Adam's friends and family wanted to honour his memory in a way that would make him proud. His friend Ciarán Corkerry explained that music was one of Adam's greatest loves. That is why they decided to use music to remember him and to raise money for a good cause. Ciarán and members of Adam's old band, Reverb, started the 'For Keano' campaign. They have already raised over £5,000 by organising music events and other fundraisers.

The music community has come together to support the campaign. Ciarán said that when he reached out to people and told them it was for Adam, they were eager to help. Adam was known for his friendly and lively personality, and he touched many lives. Tom Grennan and the Courteeners donated tickets to their concerts, which will be raffled as part of the campaign. The money raised from the raffle will be added to other fundraising efforts in Adam's name. Ciarán said they are very grateful for the support from Tom Grennan, his manager John Dawkins, and the Courteeners. He hopes that the raffle will raise even more money to help people affected by brain tumours.
