Rewind Festival 2026: The Human League & The Proclaimers Take Center Stage!

The Rewind Festival has announced its headliners for the 2026 event, and fans of 1980s music have a lot to look forward to. The festival will take place at Temple Island Meadows, which is located near Henley-on-Thames on the border between Berkshire and Oxfordshire. The event will run from August 21 to August 23, and it is expected to attract thousands of music lovers from all over the country. This year, the main stage will feature The Human League as the Saturday night headliner. The Human League is a well-known English synthpop band, famous for their 1981 hit song 'Don't You Want Me'. They last performed at the festival in 2022, and fans are excited to see them return.

On Sunday night, The Proclaimers will take the main stage as the headline act. The Proclaimers are a Scottish rock duo made up of twin brothers Craig and Charlie Reid. They are best known for their energetic song 'I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)'. The main stage shows will be presented by Jenny Powell from Greatest Hits Radio on Saturday and Clive Jackson, also known as The Doctor from Dr and the Medics, on Sunday. In addition to the headliners, the festival will feature performances by Kim Wilde, Soul II Soul, The Trevor Horn Band, Tony Hadley, Nik Kershaw, Tunde from the Lighthouse Family, The Undertones, and The Beat featuring Ranking Jnr.

There will also be several acts performing at Rewind Festival for the first time, including Louise, Toploader, Dave Hill's Slade, Peter Andre, and Dodgy. The festival is not just about music; it also offers a variety of fun activities and attractions. Visitors can enjoy the return of the pink flamingo and river stage, a silent disco, and the spend a penny arcade with funfair rides. There will be a special kid-zone for children, as well as plenty of stalls selling food, drinks, and other items. The weekend will end with a spectacular firework display. Tickets for the festival will go on sale at 9:00 AM on Friday, and organizers expect them to sell out quickly. The Rewind Festival, which started in 2009, has become a popular summer event for people who love 80s music and want to have a good time with friends and family.
