This comic, called Action Comics No 1, was first published in 1938 and is famous for introducing Superman to the world. The sale was made to a private collector who wishes to remain anonymous. The comic was graded 9 out of 10 by experts who specialize in authenticating collectibles, making it one of the best-preserved copies ever found. The story of the comic's theft and recovery has made it even more famous, similar to how the Mona Lisa became a world icon after it was stolen and recovered. Now, Action Comics No 1 is considered an icon of American pop culture, and its value continues to rise.
