Valley Fest 2026: Music, Food, and Fun Return to the Farm!

Valley Fest, a popular family-friendly festival, is returning to Chew Magna near Bristol this summer after taking a break last year. The festival will take place from July 30 to August 2, set on a scenic farm right next to Chew Valley Lake. Known for its lively mix of music, food, and community spirit, Valley Fest has announced its first wave of headlining artists for 2026. Among the top acts are Friendly Fires, Big Special, The Herbaliser, and Cast. Other performers include Beans on Toast, Fisherman's Friends, The Bluetones, Channel One Sound System, Doreen Doreen, and The Beatles Dub Club.

The festival is not just about music. It also celebrates food and wellbeing. Chefs like Toby Gritten and Josh Eggleton will be at the festival, offering cooking demonstrations and sharing their knowledge about food. One special feature is Eggleton's Pony Bus, a mobile food education unit that will provide hands-on workshops for both children and adults. These sessions are designed to teach people about where their food comes from and how to prepare it. There will also be plenty of arts and crafts activities for children, making the festival a great place for families to spend time together.

Valley Fest was founded in 2014 by Luke Hasell, who wanted to create an event that brought people together through music, food, and a sense of community. The festival is set against the beautiful backdrop of Chew Valley Lake, which adds to the unique atmosphere. Hasell says that Valley Fest is more than just a music festival; it's a gathering that celebrates the land, community, and joy. He is excited to welcome a diverse group of artists, chefs, and families back to the farm this summer.
