Rebecca Joynes, a teacher, is currently on trial at Manchester Crown Court for the alleged sexual activity with teenage boys. According to the court proceedings, Joynes was accused of laughing and dismissing one of the boys when he expressed that he was not old enough. The boy, known as Boy A in court, stated that Joynes picked him up after school and took him to her flat where they engaged in sexual activity. He mentioned that Joynes made a comment about driving, to which he responded that he was too young to drive. Allegedly, Joynes laughed and told him to stop saying that. The 30-year-old teacher is facing six counts of engaging in sexual activity with a child, including two while being in a position of trust. The jury was informed that she became pregnant by a second boy, Boy B, while she was on bail for allegedly having sexual activity with Boy A.
