Logan Paul, a well-known YouTube personality, has initiated the process of reimbursing fans who suffered financial losses due to his unsuccessful cryptocurrency game, CryptoZoo. Despite the fact that fans invested millions in game tokens, the game, announced in 2021, never came to fruition.
Paul, aged 28, has declared his intention to repurchase the tokens, with the stipulation that fans who accept the offer will not pursue legal action against him. It is improbable that fans will recover their entire investment. CryptoZoo was envisioned as a platform where players could trade and breed virtual animals using cryptocurrency.
Paul had previously encouraged individuals to invest in cryptocurrency collectables for what he described as a 'really fun game that makes you money'. However, after amassing millions in sales from NFTs and cryptocurrency, he ceased discussing CryptoZoo and seemingly abandoned the project. Following a series of investigative videos released by fellow YouTuber, Coffeezilla, in December 2022, Paul issued an apology, expressing his desire to 'make this right'.
