TikTok Teacher Kit Brown Leads UK Schools in Hilarious Red Nose Day Fun!

Kit Brown, a teacher from Hertfordshire, has become the first ever School Champion for Comic Relief, a well-known charity event in the UK. Kit is not just a teacher but also a TikTok star, famous for his creative teaching methods. He often changes the lyrics of popular songs, like those by Taylor Swift, to include maths terms, making lessons more fun and easier to remember for his students. His unique style has made him popular on social media, with over 70 million likes on his videos. Kit also uses call and response games in class, using well-known phrases or songs to get his students’ attention.

This year, Kit Brown is teaming up with Maddie Moate, a presenter from CBeebies, to help schools across the UK prepare for Red Nose Day, which will be held on Friday, 20 March. Red Nose Day is a special day when people wear red noses and do silly activities to raise money for Comic Relief. Kit and Maddie are sending out fundraising packs to teachers, filled with ideas for fun activities. Some of these include baking cakes or biscuits shaped like teachers, dressing up in red from head to toe, and organizing 'silly Olympics' where students might use frying pans instead of tennis rackets or run races wearing flippers.

For the first time, there is also a 'Design-yer nose' challenge, where children can create their own unique red nose designs. The best designs can win a £100 gift voucher and other Red Nose Day prizes. Maddie Moate says she is looking forward to seeing all the creative and silly ideas that schools come up with.
