BTS Triumphs Big as Black Eyed Peas Rock a Surprise AMA Reunion!

The American Music Awards was a big night for BTS, the popular seven-member group from South Korea. They won the top prize, Artist of the Year, for the second year in a row, showing how much people love their music. BTS beat out other famous artists like Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Bad Bunny, and Lady Gaga for this award. They also took home Song of the Summer for their hit Swim and Best Male K-pop Artist. Their label mates, Katseye, were named New Artist of the Year, which was a big moment for them as well.

There were many other winners at the event. The song Golden from the animated movie K-Pop Demon Hunters was chosen as Song of the Year. Sabrina Carpenter had a great night, winning Album of the Year for Man's Best Friend, Best Female Pop Artist, and Best Pop Album. Justin Bieber was named Best Male Pop Artist. PinkPantheress won Collaboration of the Year for her song with Zara Larsson, who also won Breakthrough Album of the Year for Midnight Sun. Katseye picked up two more awards for Best Music Video and Breakthrough Pop Artist. Huntrix, another group, won Best Vocal Performance and Best Pop Song.

The Black Eyed Peas made a surprise reunion at the show. They won Best Throwback Song for Rock That Body, a song from their 2009 album. Fergie, who left the group in 2018, joined them on stage and thanked the fans for their support. She said it was a special moment to be back with her friends. The Pussycat Dolls also performed their old hit Don' Cha with Busta Rhymes. Teddy Swims sang some of his best songs, and other winners included SZA, Kendrick Lamar, Cardi B, Bad Bunny, Twice, Shakira, and Bruno Mars. Queen Latifah hosted the show, and there were performances from Katseye, Keith Urban, New Kids on the Block, and Twenty One Pilots.
