Liverpool Rocks Into Its First Ever Month-Long Music Bash!

Liverpool is celebrating its very first Music Month, and the city is buzzing with excitement. Known as a UNESCO City of Music, Liverpool is using this month to highlight the artists and venues that have made it famous around the world. The festivities begin with the Sound City festival, featuring performances by artists such as Jalen Ngonda, Keo, and Kate Nash. Organizers say this month is a chance to show why Liverpool is considered one of the greatest music cities in the world.

One of the special events during Music Month is an orchestral performance of songs by The Beach Boys, a legendary American band. The event will also feature artists like Emmy Lou Harris, The Longest Johns, and Kingfishr, while James Morrison will perform at the Dark Reign Metal Fest. The Liverpool Philharmonic will host several concerts, including a tribute to The Beach Boys on May 22. Other highlights include Roland Gift Presents Fine Young Cannibals, Max Cooper, and a show by Maisie Peters at Camp and Furnace.
