Discover Rare George Michael Pics in a Stunning New Exhibition!
A new exhibition has opened in St Leonards, East Sussex, featuring never-before-seen photographs of the famous singer George Michael. The photos were taken by Brian Aris, a well-known photographer from Folkestone who has also worked with other big stars like Queen, The Rolling Stones, and Debbie Harry. Brian Aris first met George Michael in 1984 when he photographed him with his Wham! bandmate Andrew Ridgeley. Even though George Michael did not like having his picture taken, he and Brian Aris worked together for almost thirty years. The exhibition is being held at the Lucy Bell Gallery and is connected to a new book called 'Celebrating George,' which tells the story of George Michael's life and his friendship with Brian Aris.
The exhibition includes many interesting photos of George Michael. One shows him sitting by a pool, reading a magazine with a picture of a woman's lips on the cover, and wearing sunglasses. There are also black and white photos of him as a young man, and another image where he is wearing sunglasses with a red light shining on his face. Brian Aris said that George Michael never acted like a superstar when they worked together. Instead, he was always modest, kind, and easy to get along with. Aris said he really enjoyed working with George and was heartbroken when he passed away in 2016.
Besides being a talented musician, George Michael was also known for his charity work and support for LGBT rights. He gave money to HIV charities and helped many people, but he did it quietly and did not want everyone to know. Many of his good deeds only became public after his death. Brian Aris said it was amazing that George Michael did so much good without seeking attention. The exhibition 'Celebrating George' will be open at the Lucy Bell Gallery until 2 May, giving fans and visitors a chance to see a different side of the pop star and learn more about his life and the positive impact he made.
