Melanie C Gets Emotional Celebrating Spice Girls' 30 Years of Girl Power!

The Spice Girls marked Wannabe's 30th birthday by posting messages on social media, thanking each other and their fans. Melanie said that all the Spice Girls are still in touch and are grateful for their friendship. She also remembered how nervous they were when Wannabe was first released. At first, it seemed like the song would only reach number six on the charts, but it quickly climbed to number three and then to number one. The group was in Japan at the time, so they had to send recorded performances back to the UK. Wannabe stayed at number one for seven weeks, and Melanie said it changed their lives forever.
