Chinese artist detained for 'insulting' Mao sculptures

Gao Zhen had been living in the United States for the past two years but returned to China to visit family when he was arrested in Hebei province. Gao Qiang reported that around 30 police officers raided their art studio in Sanhe City on August 26, confiscating several artworks and detaining his brother.
