When asked about the Bafta-nominated series Slow Horses, which revolves around intelligence agents who have been dismissed by MI5, Lowden shared his experience of being trained in spycraft. He recounted, 'We had a day with an ex-MI6 officer who helped us learn about surveillance and counter-surveillance. ' They were supposed to practice following a target outside, but when it started to rain, the officer decided it was best to stay indoors. Lowden humorously noted, 'So MI6 don't operate a lot in the rain,' suggesting that perhaps they are often working in other countries. Freeman then chimed in with his own experiences of being followed by people. He explained, 'Sometimes people follow you around, and they think you don’t know. ' He found these experiences to be more annoying than frightening, saying, 'It’s annoying because they think you don’t know they are doing it. Occasionally, I just turn around and say, 'Look, what do you want? ' I try to be reasonable and tell them, 'I am not a prop.
