Robbie Williams Rocks Ozzy Osbourne Tribute at Historic Brit Awards

The Brit Awards is set to honor the legendary heavy metal singer Ozzy Osbourne with a Lifetime Achievement award. Ozzy, who was born in Birmingham, became famous as the lead singer of Black Sabbath and later as a solo artist. He passed away last July, just weeks after his final performance in his hometown. To celebrate his life and music, the Brit Awards will host a special tribute in Manchester on Saturday. Robbie Williams, a well-known British singer and a longtime fan of Ozzy, will lead a group of musicians in performing No More Tears, one of Ozzy's most popular songs. This performance was specially arranged by Ozzy's wife, Sharon Osbourne, who invited Williams to take part because of his friendship with the family and his love for Ozzy's music.

The tribute will also feature musicians who played with Ozzy throughout his career, including Adam Wakeman, Robert Trujillo, Tommy Clufetos, and Zakk Wylde. This group will help bring Ozzy's music to life on stage one more time. Ozzy was no stranger to the Brit Awards, having hosted the event in 2008 with his wife Sharon and their children, Kelly and Jack. The tribute follows a similar performance at the US Grammy Awards, where artists like Post Malone and Slash played War Pigs, another classic Ozzy song.

Ozzy Osbourne's impact on music is huge. Over five decades, he sold more than 100 million albums worldwide, both with Black Sabbath and as a solo artist. He released 19 studio albums and eight live albums with Black Sabbath, and 13 solo studio albums. He won five Grammy awards and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the UK Music Hall of Fame, both as a member of Black Sabbath and as a solo artist. The Brit Awards ceremony will be held in Manchester for the first time, with Jack Whitehall as the host. Other performers include Harry Styles, Olivia Dean, Mark Ronson, and Wolf Alice. Noel Gallagher will receive the Songwriter of the Year award, and PinkPantheress will be named Producer of the Year. The Brit Awards is a night to celebrate music and honor artists who have made a lasting impact, like Ozzy Osbourne.
