West Midlands' Stunning Blood Moon Lights Up the Night Sky

Last night, the West Midlands experienced a stunning natural event known as a Blood Moon, and photographers across the region were quick to capture its beauty. The moon appeared with a vibrant red color and dark patches scattered across its surface, creating a dramatic scene in the night sky. This phenomenon occurred because the moon passed through the Earth's shadow, causing a total lunar eclipse. In Broadwas, Worcestershire, a photographer managed to capture the Blood Moon in its early stages, showing trees and fields below an orange moon surrounded by a pink sky. Kinver, Staffordshire, saw the moon with a creamy yellow tone, and one photographer took an artistic approach by placing a leaf in the foreground, highlighting the bright orange light of the moon in the background.

Sky watchers in Bidford-on-Avon, Warwickshire, were treated to a bright yellow moon with spots of dark orange. Half of the moon was covered by shadow, but the rest was a vibrant yellow color.
