Kerry Ellis wore green face paint, a blue blazer, a blue jumper, a blue hat, and a black braided wig to transform into Elphaba. She was photographed smiling in her dressing room, showing her excitement for the role.

After her time in London, Kerry Ellis moved to New York to join the Broadway cast of Wicked the following year. Now living in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, Kerry was recently given a small cameo in the sequel to the Wicked movie. Kerry Ellis was voted the people's favorite West End Elphaba in a WhatsOnStage. com poll in 2013, and she described Elphaba as an 'iconic' character. The upcoming sequel film, Wicked: For Good, features Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande as Elphaba and Glinda, continuing the origin story of the Wicked Witch of the West. Kerry was filmed as a member of the public in the movie, although she does not know if her scene will make it into the final cut. She had the chance to meet both Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, whom she described as 'really lovely. ' Kerry said, 'I did a couple days' filming on it, which was very exciting, going to play on the set. ' She mentioned that several other cast members from past productions were also present, making it a special experience to see the set, costumes, and be part of the movie-making process.
