Ringo Starr’s New Album ‘Long Long Road’ Features Star-Studded Collaborations!

Sir Ringo Starr, the legendary drummer from the Beatles, has announced that he will be releasing a brand new album titled Long Long Road. The album was recorded in both Nashville and Los Angeles, giving it a country and Americana sound. Some of the musicians who played on Look Up also contributed to this new project. Ringo mentioned that the album was influenced by the music of Carl Perkins, a guitarist he admired. He recorded two Carl Perkins songs with the Beatles in the past, and for this album, T Bone found a lesser-known Perkins track called I Don't See Me In Your Eyes Anymore, which Ringo included on Long Long Road. T Bone Burnett is a respected producer and guitarist who has worked with many famous musicians, including Bob Dylan. He has won several Grammy Awards and an Oscar for his work on film soundtracks like O Brother, Where Art Thou and Walk the Line. Burnett spoke highly of Ringo, saying he has always admired his drumming and singing. After attending a poetry reading together, Burnett was inspired to write a song for Ringo that has a Texas music feel, which he believes suits Ringo's style perfectly. Ringo, whose real name is Richard Starkey, was born in Liverpool and has been making music for decades.
