The Tiree Music Festival drew thousands of music lovers to the small Scottish island of Tiree this past weekend. On the final day, musician Martin Gillespie played the bagpipes by the shore, dressed in a kilt and sunglasses, adding a traditional Scottish touch to the event. According to a recent report, the festival has contributed around £11 million to Tiree’s economy since it began in 2010. This economic boost is important for the small island community.

Daniel Gillespie, the founder and artistic director of the festival, expressed his joy at seeing so many people come together to celebrate Scottish music and culture. He said that the festival’s success was due to the strong community spirit and the beautiful surroundings of Tiree. Many festival-goers dressed up in creative costumes, including sea-themed and fantasy outfits, adding to the fun and festive atmosphere.
