Celebrate Goole's 200th with Art: Submit Your Masterpieces Now!

Goole Museum in East Yorkshire is inviting local artists to take part in a special event to celebrate the town's 200th anniversary. The museum is organizing the Bicentenary Open Art Exhibition, which will run from 21 March to 16 May. Artists from the area are encouraged to submit their work for a chance to have it displayed in the museum's gallery. Dr Alex Ombler, the curator at Goole Museum, said that this year they are especially interested in artwork that celebrates Goole's rich history and heritage. Dr Ombler also mentioned that the museum is a welcoming place for new artists, and they hope to see many first-time participants.
