London Transport Museum's Stunning Revamp Rolls Into Covent Garden!

The London Transport Museum, located in Covent Garden, is about to undergo a major refurbishment as it approaches its 50th anniversary. The planned makeover will include a brand new public entrance from Covent Garden Piazza, making it easier and more inviting for people to visit. In addition to the new entrance, the museum will add 500 square meters of extra gallery space. The museum will also get environmental upgrades, such as a new low-carbon heating system, which will help reduce its impact on the environment. Andy Lord, the commissioner of Transport for London, said he is excited to support the new plans, which will showcase both the city’s transport heritage and its future. The museum’s renovation is expected to make it an even more exciting place for people of all ages to explore and learn about how London’s transport system has changed and grown over the years.
