Yung Filly, a well-known British rapper and YouTuber, has recently faced serious legal troubles in Australia. His real name is Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, and he has gained fame for his music and entertaining videos. He is a member of the YouTube group Beta Squad and has hosted various shows on BBC Three. On June 11, 2022, he performed at the Parklife Festival in Manchester, England, showcasing his talent to a large audience. However, his visit to Australia has taken a dark turn as he has been charged with multiple serious offenses. After being accused of rape, he was extradited to Perth, Australia, where he appeared in court to address these allegations. On Thursday, he was officially charged, and his bail application was approved, allowing him to remain free while awaiting further legal proceedings. His representatives have been contacted for comments regarding the situation. The charges against Yung Filly are quite severe. They include four counts of sexual penetration without consent, three counts of assault occasioning bodily harm, and one count of impeding a person's normal breathing or circulation by applying pressure to their neck. The allegations state that he brought a woman in her 20s back to his hotel room after performing at a nightclub called Bar1 in Perth. This incident reportedly occurred on September 28. In the Perth Magistrates Court, he was represented by barrister Seamus Rafferty SC, who applied for bail on his behalf. Yung Filly, who is 29 years old, was in Australia for a music tour. He has also made appearances on popular UK television shows, including Soccer Aid on ITV and The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer on Channel 4.
