Karen Gillan joins the cast of Highlander reboot

Karen says the film is not what people might expect from Stephen King, as it is not a horror story but rather a life-affirming exploration of how to live meaningfully. In the movie, Karen plays Felicia, a nurse who is aware that the universe is ending. She spent time thinking about what it would feel like to know the world was coming to an end and realized that things like awards and money would lose their importance. Instead, she believes that being with loved ones is what truly matters. Karen was pregnant with Clementine when 'The Life of Chuck' premiered in Toronto, and she attended the Hollywood premiere in June, marking her first red carpet event since becoming a mother.
