Houthi missile fired at Israel intercepted as fresh air strikes hit Gaza

The Houthis had previously attempted to attack the USS Harry S Truman, a US Navy aircraft carrier, in the Red Sea. Meanwhile, the IDF has increased its military presence in the Netzarim Corridor, a region that separates the northern and southern parts of the Gaza Strip. This renewed military action against Gaza signifies the end of a fragile ceasefire that had been in effect since January. The United Nations has reported that two individuals, including one of its staff members, were killed in an explosion at their compound in Deir al-Balah.
