Space Crew's Early Earth Splashdown After Emergency Medical Evacuation!

Four astronauts returned to Earth earlier than planned after a medical emergency on the International Space Station. The crew, known as Crew-11, included NASA astronauts Mike Fincke and Zena Cardman, Japanese astronaut Kimiya Yui, and Russian cosmonaut Oleg Platonov. They were supposed to stay on the ISS for six and a half months, but their mission was cut short by a month because one of them became seriously ill. The astronauts landed safely in the ocean off the coast of California. Mike Fincke was the first to exit the spacecraft, smiling and looking a bit unsteady before lying down on a stretcher, which is a normal procedure after being in space.
