How Disney superfan’s dream came true with sneak peek of Hong Kong Disneyland’s newest additions
Kaitey Wong is a huge Disney enthusiast with an impressive collection of Disney memorabilia, including pins, hats, and even a whistle that mimics the sound of a train. Her passion for Disney led her to a dream job as an events planner at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort. However, her Disney adventures didn't end there. She recently got an exclusive look at two new attractions at the resort.
The first attraction is the 'Dream Makers' statue, featuring Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse sitting together on a bench. It's now a beautiful sight in front of the Cinderella Carousel, with the Castle of Magical Dreams as a stunning backdrop. The second is the eagerly awaited World of Frozen, the first and largest theme area based on the popular 'Frozen' movies.
The World of Frozen officially opens on November 20 and invites guests into the movie's world of Arendelle, where they can enjoy rides like Frozen Ever After and Wandering Oaken's Sliding Sleighs, as well as the interactive Playhouse in the Woods. Michael Moriarty, the managing director of Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, believes that this new addition will boost the park's international reputation. The launch coincides with Hong Kong Disneyland's 18th anniversary and the centennial of The Walt Disney Company. You can join Kaitey Wong for a virtual tour of these new additions by watching the video.
