Trampolinist's Tearful Triumph on Take That's Epic Circus Tour

Millie Harvey, a talented trampolinist, recently had an unforgettable experience touring with the famous British band Take That on their Circus tour. Millie had just completed her degree in psychology at Bournemouth University when she was invited by a circus company to join a new show. At first, she had no idea that this opportunity would lead her to perform in huge stadiums alongside one of the UK's most popular music groups. When she learned she would be part of the Take That tour, Millie was overjoyed and described herself as 'beaming. ' She said the whole experience felt surreal, especially during the opening night in Southampton, where she had to hold back tears because she never imagined being part of such a large and exciting event.

Millie performed with her synchronized trampolining partner, Max Middleton, who also just finished university. Together, they joined Take That for 17 shows across the UK and Ireland, from late May to early July. The tour was a revival of Take That's iconic Circus Tour from 2009, making it even more special for fans and performers alike. Millie said that seeing the excitement of the fans and watching the band members perform was amazing. She still finds it hard to believe everything she experienced, even after the tour ended.

Reflecting on her time with Take That, Millie shared that the band members were incredibly kind, hardworking, and welcoming to everyone involved in the show. While studying at Bournemouth University, Millie received a sports scholarship to support her competitive trampolining. Earlier this year, she and Max competed at the senior world championships in Spain, where they reached their first world final. Millie also made it to the semi-finals in the individual event at a World Cup in Italy. During the tour, she wore bright and colorful circus costumes, adding to the excitement of the performances. Millie says she is still amazed by the whole experience and grateful for the chance to be part of such a memorable tour.
