Fans of Downton Abbey have a new reason to visit Basildon Park in Berkshire, as the stately home is now displaying costumes from the final Downton Abbey film. Basildon Park was used as the Crawley family's London residence in both the TV series and the latest movie, Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale. The exhibition features six outfits worn by the show's beloved characters, all inspired by the fashion of the 1930s, which is the era in which the film is set. Visitors can view these costumes until 14 September, making it a special treat for anyone interested in period fashion or the world of Downton Abbey.

Among the costumes on display are Lady Mary's striking red dress, Cora's elegant blue velvet gown, and Lady Edith's floral silk dress. Each of these outfits is paired with a sparkling diamond tiara, adding to the glamour and authenticity of the exhibition.
