Discover Henry Moore's Biggest Outdoor Art Show Ever at Kew Gardens!

Kew Gardens in London is now home to the largest outdoor exhibition ever held of Henry Moore's artwork. Henry Moore was a famous British artist known for his large, semi-abstract bronze sculptures. The new exhibition at Kew is called Monumental Nature and features thirty of Moore's works spread throughout the beautiful botanic gardens in west London. In addition to the sculptures at Kew, four of Moore's pieces will be shown at Wakehurst, which is Kew's wild botanic garden in Sussex. These will stay on display until May 2027. The director of creative programmes at Kew, Paul Denton, said that the exhibition is designed to help visitors understand what inspired Moore as an artist. Moore was very interested in how people and nature are connected, and he often placed his sculptures outdoors to show this relationship. Denton explained that Moore's work was influenced by the discoveries and changes happening during his lifetime, and that his art invites people to think about their own connection to the natural world.

Sebastiano Barassi, who is in charge of the Henry Moore collections, said that Kew and Wakehurst are perfect places for Moore's art because he was inspired by nature.
