Star luxury property brokers charged with sex trafficking in US

In a shocking turn of events, three brothers who are well-known in the luxury real estate market have been charged with serious crimes. Tal, Oren, and Alon Alexander are accused of drugging, assaulting, and raping numerous women over a period of more than ten years. The brothers, who have made a name for themselves selling high-end properties in cities like New York and Miami, were arrested in Florida and are expected to be extradited to New York to face the charges. Oren's lawyer has denied the allegations, stating that he is innocent, while Alon's lawyer has indicated that he will plead not guilty. Tal's representative has chosen not to comment on the situation. During a press conference in Manhattan, US Attorney Damian Williams revealed that law enforcement has interviewed many women who have come forward with claims of being forcibly raped or sexually assaulted by at least one of the Alexander brothers. Williams described the alleged conduct as 'heinous,' emphasizing the severity of the accusations. The indictment outlines a disturbing pattern of behavior, where the brothers allegedly invited women to parties and used the allure of luxurious experiences and travel to lure them to various locations, both in the United States and abroad, where the assaults reportedly took place. The indictment also claims that the brothers provided drugs to the women, sometimes secretly slipping them into their drinks. Furthermore, prosecutors allege that in some instances, the brothers physically restrained their victims during the assaults, ignoring their screams and explicit requests to stop. After the assaults, it is claimed that the brothers would sometimes offer their victims concert tickets and other luxury items as a way to manipulate and silence them. The Alexander brothers are facing one count each of engaging in a sex trafficking conspiracy, as well as a second count of sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion. Additionally, Tal Alexander faces an extra charge of sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion. Oren's lawyer has firmly stated that he is innocent and believes that the evidence will prove that neither he nor his brothers committed any crimes. Meanwhile, a lawyer representing the victims expressed relief at the indictment, stating that it is a step towards accountability for the Alexander brothers and justice for their many victims. He commended the survivors for their bravery in coming forward and sharing their painful experiences. Tal and Oren Alexander have previously worked for the prestigious real estate firm Douglas Elliman, where they have listed properties for various celebrities, including Liam Gallagher, Lindsay Lohan, Kim Kardashian, and Kanye West.
