Callum Scott Howells, who is known for his role in It's a Sin, is taking on the part of Henry Paget in a new film called Madfabulous. Henry Paget was a Welsh aristocrat from the 1800s who became famous for his unique style and love of performance. When his father passed away in 1898, Henry inherited a huge house called Plas Newydd on Anglesey and a large fortune. Instead of living quietly, he spent his money on extravagant parties, shows, and costumes. He even turned a chapel into a theater so he could put on amazing performances for his guests.

People in Edwardian society thought Henry's behavior was strange and wasteful. He wore clothes that were very different from what men usually wore at the time, and he enjoyed entertaining people with his creativity. Some people now compare him to musicians like David Bowie and Marc Bolan because he was not afraid to express himself in new ways. Henry Paget's life is still a mystery in many ways. His diaries were destroyed, so there is no clear evidence about his private life or his sexuality. This makes him an enigma, and Callum Scott Howells said he did not want to guess or label Henry's sexuality in the film.

Howells spent a lot of time researching Henry Paget to prepare for the role. He hopes that when people watch the movie, they will be inspired to learn more about Henry themselves. The film was shot in just over a month in different places in north Wales. The costumes were especially important, and each one was handmade to look just like the outfits Henry wore. After spending all his money, Henry had to leave his home and move to Monaco, where he died at the young age of 29. Even though his life was short, Henry Paget is remembered as someone who lived boldly and inspired others to be themselves. Madfabulous also features actors like Rupert Everett, Ruby Stokes, and Paul Rhys, and aims to bring Henry's fascinating story to a new audience.
