Graphic Designer Battles AI: When Robots Steal the Spotlight!

Instead, many small companies are turning to artificial intelligence, or AI, to make their own designs. Danny understands why this is happening. He says, 'With smaller businesses, the funding isn't there for graphic design or big media packs. ' This means that companies are looking for cheaper and easier ways to get their marketing done, and AI is becoming a popular choice.

Danny remembers when graphic designers were highly sought after. He says, 'Graphic designers were in demand 15 years ago when I started out. ' But now, he is getting less work. AI is becoming more accessible, and more people are using it to create posters and other marketing materials. Danny believes that the graphic design industry needs to adapt to these changes. However, he also thinks that posters made by AI are starting to look repetitive. 'Most people are sick of seeing them,' he says. Danny feels that cheaper options are not always the best. He says, 'At the end of the day, it's the face of your business. ' He believes that people will eventually want unique designs again because they do not trust AI as much.

Claire Howlett, who runs The King's Head pub in Pollington, East Yorkshire, uses AI to create most of her social media content. She says, 'I've done all my advertising myself so far. ' Claire finds AI tools to be the best, cheapest, and most convenient option for her business right now. She says that if her business grows, she might consider hiring a graphic designer in the future. Stephen Woodford, CEO of the Advertising Association, says the industry is changing rapidly because of AI. He emphasizes that strict rules must be followed in advertising. Woodford says that advertising must be decent, honest, and truthful. He believes that AI is very capable, but there are things it cannot do. Woodford wants to make sure the UK advertising industry uses AI in a way that maintains high creative standards, public trust, and ethical safeguards. He says, 'If you're putting things in the public domain on behalf of a brand or a business, you've got to be absolutely sure that they are representing that business honestly and with integrity and in compliance with the rules. '
