Pentagon UFO Files Unveiled: Shiny Lights, Hovering Mysteries, and Moon Surprises!

The Pentagon has released a large collection of documents about UFOs, also known as unidentified flying objects, and unidentified anomalous phenomena. These files include reports from both civilians and astronauts, some of whom were on missions to the Moon. The documents cover many years and were made public after President Donald Trump said there was a lot of interest in the topic. The Department of Defense has posted 161 files online, and more are expected to be released in the future. This move comes after Congress held its first hearing on UFOs in fifty years, showing that the government is trying to be more open about what it knows.

Some of the most interesting parts of the documents are the stories from astronauts who traveled to the Moon during the Apollo missions. Buzz Aldrin, who was part of Apollo 11, said he saw a bright light that he thought might be a laser, but he was not sure. Alan Bean from Apollo 12 described seeing flashes of light and particles that looked like they were leaving the Moon. During the Apollo 17 mission, two astronauts saw flashing lights outside their spacecraft and joked that it looked like a fireworks show. They guessed that the lights could have been reflections from ice. There is also a recording from the Gemini 7 mission in 1965, where an astronaut reported seeing a strange object and many small particles near his spaceship.

The files also include reports from people on Earth who say they saw strange objects in the sky. For example, in 1957, a man told the FBI he saw a large, round vehicle rise from the ground. In 2023, some Americans reported seeing metal objects appear out of bright lights. The military has also recorded videos of strange objects in the sky in places like Iraq, Syria, and the United Arab Emirates. Some of these objects moved quickly and could not be easily explained. Lawmakers like Congressman Tim Burchett and Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna think it is good that the government is sharing this information. However, others, like former Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, believe the focus on UFOs is a distraction from more important issues. Still, the release of these files has made many people curious about what else might be out there in the universe.
