Zamrock Revival: 70s Afro-Rock Gets a Bold, Psychedelic Comeback!

Sampa believes Zamrock represents freedom and boldness, and she wants to make sure its legacy continues. Other international stars, including Travis Scott and Tyler, the Creator, have sampled Zamrock tracks in their own songs. In Zambia, new artists are experimenting with the genre, and events like the annual Zamrock Festival celebrate its history. The original band WITCH has reunited with new members and is performing around the world, introducing Zamrock to new generations.
