Lucy drove him to the airport on April 13, and she was aware that he was staying at a hostel in Las Vegas prior to the wrestling event. Sam was known for being very active on social media, so when he stopped communicating on April 16, it raised alarms among his friends and family. His mother, Fran Ruddock, who resides in Lincoln, stated that he typically speaks to her every day and is generally very sociable. She is urging anyone who may have seen him, whether in the UK or the United States, to come forward with any information. She said, 'Anything at all to piece together the gaps. ' Sam has represented Great Britain in various sports, including cycling, sprinting, and athletics. Alongside his mother, Lucy contacted the police in the UK, who then coordinated with the police in the United States and Interpol to assist in the search. Lucy also reached out to the hostel where Sam was staying and learned that he had not checked out, but his belongings remained in his room. British Cycling has acknowledged that he has been reported missing and is encouraging anyone who has had contact with Sam since April 16 to reach out to their local police department. The Lincolnshire Police have confirmed that they are actively investigating the case of the missing person.
