He also helped with tasks like picking up litter and showing people to their seats. Former councillor and mayor Anthony Munday worked with Mike for many years and said they shared a passion for the city. Mike was always looking for ways to improve Stoke-on-Trent, putting on shows and events and coming up with new ideas. Munday said that Mike knew more about the entertainment world in Stoke-on-Trent than anyone else.
