The main jobs for the Aeon robots at BMW will be to deliver parts to machines and help assemble batteries. These tasks are often repetitive or physically hard for people, so robots can make the work easier and safer. BMW believes that using robots will not lead to job losses. In fact, when robots were first introduced in car factories in the 1970s, more jobs were created because of the new technology.
