KPop Demon Hunters is an animated film that has taken the world by storm since its release on Netflix in June. Audrey Nuna, Ejae, and Rei Ami took a selfie together in front of a promotional sign for the movie, showing their excitement and pride. Their unique styles, from Audrey's puffy grey jacket and glasses to Rei Ami's metal-studded belt, have also caught the attention of fans.

Golden is not the only song from KPop Demon Hunters to make waves. Another track from the film, Your Idol by the fictional group Saja Boys, reached number eight on the Billboard Hot 100. Both songs became popular soon after the movie's release, even beating out real-life K-pop superstars like BTS and Blackpink. Earlier this month, Golden also climbed to the top of the Official UK Singles Chart, becoming only the second K-pop single to do so after Psy's Gangnam Style in 2012. Martin Talbot, CEO of Official Charts, called this a landmark moment for K-pop, saying that the genre's stars are now competing with some of the biggest names in music.

Golden debuted at number 81 on the Billboard Hot 100 on July 5 and steadily rose to the top. Ejae, who co-wrote the song, said the team always believed Golden would be a hit, but its massive success was still a surprise. She compared the experience to surfing and catching a huge wave for the first time. The film itself has become a major success for Netflix, ranking as its fourth-most watched movie ever within weeks of its release. Reports suggest that Netflix is considering turning KPop Demon Hunters into a franchise with multiple sequels, hoping to match the success of Disney's Frozen. With its engaging story, memorable characters, and chart-topping music, KPop Demon Hunters is set to remain a cultural phenomenon for some time.
