London Fashion Week 2026 was a major event this year, bringing together both well-known designers and new talent to showcase their autumn and winter collections. The city is working hard to keep its reputation as a top spot for fashion, and this year’s shows were bigger and bolder than before. There were 41 runway shows and 20 presentations, which is more than a 10 percent increase from last year. The British Fashion Council helped by waiving fees for designers, making it easier for more people to take part.
One of the most talked-about moments was when King Charles III attended the opening show. He sat in the front row with a special chair and cushion, watching Tolu Coker’s collection. Tolu Coker, who grew up in Notting Hill, used her childhood neighborhood as inspiration. Her designs were full of bright reds, blues, and colorful tartan patterns. She also focused on sustainability, using leftover fabrics and eco-friendly dyes. The music for her show was by Little Simz, who also wore one of Tolu’s outfits during her performance.
Paul Costelloe’s son, William, presented his first collection for the family brand, honoring his father who passed away last year. His designs were all about great tailoring, with lots of chocolate brown, beige, and white. The clothes had belts at the waist and strong shoulders, making the models look confident and stylish. William said he wanted to celebrate tailoring and make women look incredible.
KSENIASCHNAIDER, a brand run by a married couple from Ukraine, continued their focus on sustainability by using up-cycled and reworked clothes. Their collection had a 90s grunge feel, with double denim and military-inspired looks in khaki and beige. In contrast, Annie Doble’s show was full of beading, feathers, and embellishments, showing off her skills in making detailed and decorative clothes.
AGRO Studio, a London-based brand, was another highlight. Their collection, called The Wanderer, was inspired by stories of travelers and used natural textures. The clothes were dark and moody, with lots of lace and leather. Some of the designs looked like they belonged in a classic novel, with satin corsets and long, full skirts.
Fiorucci, an Italian brand, chose to do a presentation instead of a traditional runway show. Models posed on a pool table covered in white leopard print, wearing playful outfits with lip-shaped purses, tiaras, and big necklaces.
The week also brought many celebrities to London. Harris Reed, who has dressed stars like Beyoncé and Adele, had Nicky Hilton Rothschild, Joe Locke, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, and Lily Collins in the front row. Cat Burns and Cassyette attended Maximilian Raynor’s show, while other famous faces like Lola Thompson and Amelia Onuorah were seen at AGRO Studio. The shows were full of excitement, creativity, and a mix of classic and modern styles, proving that London is still a key city for fashion.
