Another standout item is a red jumpsuit adorned with beads in geometric patterns, worn by Cilla on her popular show Surprise Surprise in the mid-1980s. This jumpsuit is estimated to sell for £100 to £200.

The auction is being organized by Nesbits Fine Art & Antique Auctions in Portsmouth, with managing director John Cameron overseeing the sale. Cameron explained that while the clothes are priced to attract buyers, the final prices are unpredictable due to Cilla's enduring popularity. He referred to this as the 'Cilla-factor,' noting that her fame could drive up bids beyond typical vintage clothing values. All proceeds from the auction will be donated to Variety, the Children's Charity, reflecting Cilla's lifelong commitment to helping others. Her family chose to donate the clothes to mark the tenth anniversary of her passing, hoping to make the items accessible to a wide range of fans.

The collection spans several decades, showcasing the evolution of fashion from the 1960s through the 2000s. There are pieces by renowned designers such as Alexander McQueen, Yves Saint Laurent, Celine, Donna Karan, and Loewe. Laurence Guinness, chief executive of Variety, praised Cilla's generosity and said the auction is a fitting tribute to her legacy. The online auction will take place on November 28th, starting at 1:00 PM GMT and lasting for three hours.
