Sam is known for his creative approach to music. He builds unique instruments using old toys and electronics, such as organs made from Furby toys and Game Boys. Steve Jason remembers Sam as an energetic and eccentric performer who always brought excitement to the stage. The band Yellow Snow, which Sam was part of, was one of the early pop punk bands in Peterborough. Steve said Sam stood out because of his lively personality and unusual ideas. Now living in Kent, Sam has continued to develop his music and style, but he still remembers his roots in Cambridgeshire.

In a recent interview with BBC Radio Cambridgeshire, Sam shared that it took him about 12 hours to write his Eurovision song. The song features strong electronic beats and a catchy chorus with lyrics in both German and English, including some playful British references like roly-poly and custard. Sam's Eurovision journey comes at a special time in his life, as he recently became a father to a baby boy named Max. He said his parents and wife are very excited for him, and he feels this is a very special moment. Sam has loved Eurovision since he was a child and always dreamed of being part of it. He described the contest as a massive battle of the bands and is thrilled to represent the UK. Sam said he will do his best for his country, his friends, and his family, and hopes to make everyone proud. People in Cambridgeshire are cheering him on and hoping for his success at Eurovision.
