超級毛茸茸動物樂團十年來首次巡迴強勢回歸！

Super Furry Animals, a well-known Welsh rock band, has announced their first tour in over ten years, set to begin next May. The group, which last performed together in December 2016, will kick off their six-date tour in Dublin before heading to Glasgow, Llandudno, Cardiff, Manchester, and finally London. This reunion comes as other famous bands from the 1990s, like Oasis and Pulp, have also recently reformed. The band members, who come from Cardiff, Bethesda, and Bangor, are excited to play together again and share their music with fans old and new.

The lineup includes Huw Bunford, Cian Ciarán, Daf Ieuan, Guto Pryce, and lead singer Gruff Rhys. During the tour, they will perform songs from all nine of their albums, giving fans a chance to hear their favorite tracks live. Super Furry Animals first gained attention in the early 1990s after releasing their album Fuzzy Logic in 1996. They became known for their creative and unusual promotional stunts, such as using a tank, giant inflatable bears, and Yeti costumes to stand out. Their album Rings Around The World was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize in 2001 and even featured a guest appearance by Sir Paul McCartney, who played carrots and celery as instruments. The band built a strong reputation for their energetic live shows, and their personalized tank became a symbol of their unique style. Eventually, they sold the tank to Don Henley from the Eagles, who collects military vehicles.

After releasing eight more albums between 1996 and 2009, Super Furry Animals took a break in 2010. They returned for a few gigs in 2015 and toured the UK and North America in 2016, but have not released new music since their single Bing Bong, which celebrated Wales qualifying for the 2016 Euros. Gruff Rhys has kept busy with nine solo albums, a film score, and an opera, and recently performed with Gorillaz in London. The other members have played together as Das Koolies since 2019, releasing two well-received albums. To mark their reunion, Super Furry Animals will also release a 20th anniversary edition of their 2005 album Love Kraft, along with previously unreleased music. Fans are eagerly awaiting the tour, and tickets will be available starting October 3rd.
