' Another Roman general, Marcus Acacius, played by Pedro Pascal, says, 'I will not waste another generation of young men for their vanity,' indicating a moral stance against the corrupt rulers. The trailer ends with a tense battle between Lucius and Marcus in the arena, with Lucius appearing to have the upper hand. Initial reactions to the trailer have been mixed, with some fans excited for the sequel and others skeptical about its ability to match the original.
