The popular K-pop group Ateez is set to headline the BST Hyde Park festival in London, joining other big names like Lewis Capaldi, Pitbull, and Maroon 5. Ateez is an eight-member boy band from South Korea, made up of Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung, and Jongho. Their performance is scheduled for Sunday, June 28, and they will be one of several headline acts at the festival. This is a significant moment for Ateez, as they become the third K-pop group to headline BST Hyde Park, following Blackpink in 2023 and Stray Kids in 2024.

Since their debut in 2018, Ateez has gained a massive following, not just in Korea but around the world. They have millions of fans on social media and have completed five world tours, performing in the United States, Europe, Asia, and Australia. Ateez has also made history in the UK by being the first K-pop group to have four consecutive albums reach the top 10 on the UK music charts. They were also the first K-pop act to have three top 10 albums in a single year. Their success was further recognized when they won the 2025 K-pop artist of the year award at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, beating out other well-known K-pop stars like BTS' Jimin and Blackpink's Lisa.

BST Hyde Park is known for attracting huge crowds, with around 65,000 people attending to see headliners like Blackpink and Stray Kids in previous years. The festival has also featured major artists such as Adele, Taylor Swift, and Kendrick Lamar. This year, Pitbull will attempt to set a world record for the largest gathering of people wearing bald caps during his show on July 10. Fans have made it a trend to dress up like Pitbull, wearing bald caps, sunglasses, and suits. Other headline acts include Garth Brooks, Maroon 5, Mumford & Sons, and Duran Duran. Lewis Capaldi will perform on July 11 and 12, with a second show added due to high demand. Organizers have announced that more artists will be revealed soon, and tickets for Ateez's show will go on sale on May 29.
