He responded by emphasizing the importance of allowing the investigation to proceed, stating, 'Tulip has referred herself to the authorities to be investigated. That needs to be completed. ' Kyle also noted that if Keir Starmer were to become Prime Minister, he would respect the outcome of the inquiry. Downing Street has confirmed that Sir Laurie will conduct a fact-finding exercise to determine if further action is necessary, including a more in-depth investigation.
