Raymond, a 20-year-old Coldplay superfan from Chengdu, China, made an incredible journey to see his favorite band perform live in Hull, England. He traveled for 17 hours, flying from Beijing to London and then taking a coach to Hull, arriving at Craven Park Stadium at 5:00 in the morning. When Raymond first arrived, he was cold and a bit confused, but a friendly security guard named Michael Sergeant noticed him and decided to help. Michael gave Raymond a KitKat and suggested he buy some warm clothes from Primark, making sure Raymond felt welcome and comfortable in the new city.

Raymond had bought tickets for both of Coldplay's concerts in Hull, so he was able to see the band perform two nights in a row. On the first night, he enjoyed the show as a regular fan, not knowing that something special was being planned for him. The Coldplay team had read about Raymond's journey on the BBC website and wanted to do something memorable for him. On the second night, Chris Martin, Coldplay's lead singer, invited Raymond onto the stage in front of thousands of fans. Chris Martin praised the people of Hull for their kindness and said Raymond was the bravest fan he had ever met because he traveled all the way from China by himself.

Chris Martin and Raymond sat together at the keyboard and sang 'True Love', a song Chris Martin said he hadn't played in 11 years. Raymond was thrilled and said his dream had come true.
